THE ROLE
You will support the Wireless Device Financing team within Billing and Credit for all device financing & capitalization projects, initiatives, and escalations as we undergo a period of rapid build-out, growth and expansion. A successful candidate will have a strong focus on communication, the ability to manage multiple processes and work streams, and successfully advocate for the betterment of the device financing experience for our customers.
Also, this candidate will work on various lines of business within data analysis, process automation initiatives, and is able to act as a team lead with regards to payment strategy and effective operations.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and fully understand processes and their impact on the overall business; analyze, identify, and implement potential process and systems enhancements to create efficiencies and reduce resource allocation for routine tasks, procedures, and reports; assist in the completion of projects and using discretion to determine the methods to meet established goals
- Support the deployment and execution of all finance operations linked to payments, capitalization, contracts, payoffs, and fraud
- Support financing build-out & deployment related activities for the organization for the Billing and Credit department
- Support in planning and implementation of team tasks and projects to ensure a positive customer experience and productive team dynamic
- Support development of reporting needed to support the Device Financing program
- Execute on significant milestones to deliver results for established OKRs - both individually and with the team
- Identify potential opportunities for process improvement and report automation using various methods, i.e. databases, spreadsheets, external data sources, IT development, and execute changes to systems with little or no impact
REQUIRED SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from four-year College or technical school, preferably in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Mathematics or Statistics, and at least two years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and work with Pivot Tables, SUMIF, VLOOKUP functions, and exposure to Macros
- Experience with SQL
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common metrics used to measure and monitor operational performance, define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and provide clear and concise communication with a wide audience of internal departments
