Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Approach all encounters with associates and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working.
- Comply at all times with standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
- Ensure compliance of all policies and Code of Conduct as specified in the Employee Handbook.
- Assist, as needed, with accounts payable job functions including, but not limited to, scanning, filing, data input, statement reconciliation and vendor inquiries.
- Assist, as needed, with accounts receivable job functions including, but not limited to, filing, account billing, guest inquiries and responses.
- Assist the Assistant Director of Finance and Accounting Manager with daily and month-end general accounting duties.
- Assist with month-end closing responsibilities as assigned.
- Assist with balance sheet reconciliations as assigned.

- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.

- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
- Must have the ability to assimilate complex information, data, etc., from disparate sources and consider, adjust or modify to meet the constraints of the particular need.
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests.
- Must be able to work with, understand and interpret financial information, hotel operations data, and basic arithmetic functions.
- Must be able to prioritize regional, hotel, or departmental functions in order to meet all deadlines.
- Long hours sometimes required.
- Sedentary work – exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma required; prefer college degree.
- Some accounting or office experience desired.
- Prior hospitality experience preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products is required.
- Experience with Oracle is preferred.
