Brief Description

We are actively recruiting a Senior with a strong background in technical accounting to join our Accounting Advisory team. This hybrid role can be aligned to any one of our New York City, New Jersey, Boston, or Chicago offices.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Advising clients on new and complex accounting pronouncements
- Assisting clients in ensuring financial records are in accordance with GAAP
- Reviewing/Preparing GAAP basis financial statements and disclosures
- Reviewing/Preparing work papers to support an audit
- Reviewing/Assisting SEC Financial Report preparation
- Assisting companies with SOX 404 compliance
Knowledge & Skills:
- BS or BA in Accounting
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience; "Big 4" experience a plus
- Strong knowledge of SOX/COSO Integrated Internal Control Framework
- Strong process and analytical skills
- Knowledge of US GAAP and general business and operational principles, including audit practices, tools, techniques, concepts and trends
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong Word and Excel proficiency
- CPA or MBA preferred
