Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Financial Analyst.
Position Status: Full-time, Day Shift
Position Location: Hybrid schedule for residents of Hampton Roads, Virginia
Position Summary:
Assist financial consultants and managers with data mining and analyzing data from multiple sources. Assist in creating and maintaining reports for business operations and special projects to provide managers and directors with financial information to make strategic and operational decisions. Assist in obtaining data for use in financial modeling, as well as testing and validation of financial data. Assist in financial reporting related special projects, tasks and activities to support the overall department objectives and goals of the system.
Standard Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM (ET).
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Health Service Administration required.
- 3 years related experience as a Financial Analyst.
- In lieu of education, 3-5 years experience as a financial analyst or comparable position.
- CPA or MBA preferred. Healthcare experience is preferred.
