Overview:
PURPOSE STATEMENT:
The IT Sr. Financial Analyst helps provide high quality support to the Acadia IT department and facilities (for IT-related costs) to assist in their execution of departmental and company objectives through modelling, financial / operational analysis, and reporting.
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Analyzing current and past financial and operational data and performance
- Preparing reports and projections based on this analysis
- Assist in review of budgeting process and preparation of materials for executive and board review
- Assist in evaluation of current and future capital expenditures
- Assist department head in reviewing investment opportunities through creations of CBAs (Cost/Benefit Analysis)
- Identifying trends in financial performance and providing recommendations for improvement
- Coordinating with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts
- Assist department head in maintaining financial models and forecasting
- Other adhoc projects as needed

Qualifications:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years of experience supporting an IT organization, preferably in a multi-location healthcare setting.
- Ability to work professionally with sensitive, proprietary data & information while maintaining confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external.
- Exercises sound judgment in responding to inquiries; understands when to route inquiries to next level.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames. Ability to adapt to frequent priority changes.
- Capable of working within established policies, procedures and practices prescribed by the organization.
- English sufficient to provide and receive instructions/directions.

- PREFERRED: CPA or MBA
