Rapidly growing and successful healthcare firm is seeking an innovative Senior Accounting Manager to join their team!
This position will be the Controller's right hand and eventually will own these processes fully. Heavy balance sheet focused and will really touch a little bit of everything, working on improving firm efficiencies.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operation of corporate accounting department.
- Work with corporate stakeholders to support implementation of financial systems, processes, controls and procedures for accounting functions.
- Lead team through performance assessment and management, training, and ensure effective and efficient department operation.
- Ensure compliance with all reporting requirements.
- Establish and implement department goals, objectives and operating procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's of Accounting or Finance required.
- Minimum of 7 years or more of applicable accounting experience, healthcare preferred.
- CPA certification highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel and Great Plains.
- Minimum four years of supervisory experience required.
