The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a Warranty Administrator to join our dynamic team in Alpharetta, GA, as part of the Air Solutions Team!
Role & Responsibilities:
The Warranty Administrator position is responsible for data collection & submission for customer extended warranties and equipment replacement processes.
- Submit extended warranties for LG HVAC customers accurately and efficiently using LG platforms.
- Process scrap requests for equipment replacement in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of warranty information and scrap requests for auditing purposes.
- Liaising with customers and internal departments to ensure timely resolution of warranty issues and scrap requests.
- Work cross functionally with other departments to solve customer problems and bring resolution.
- Engage in department continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
- Communicate warranty terms and conditions to customers and provide support as needed.
- Collaborate with sales, service, and operations' teams to address warranty-related concerns and improve customer satisfaction.
- Keep abreast of best practices related to HVAC warranties and equipment replacement processes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of initiatives to streamline warranty administration and scrap request processing.
- Provide regular reports and updates to management on warranty administration and scrap request activities.
- Submit QSF requests to the factory for reimbursement, and process for payment upon approval.
- CSF claims through completion. Updating Salesforce cases through the approval process.
- Complete Service Champion Forum administrative duties including collaborating with the FTS team to update existing technical documents and sending them for publishing.
- Work with distributors to complete and submit vendor setup documents to LGEUS HQ.
- Manage the ACTOperations inbox for CSF requests, create cases in Salesforce, and update the case through the approval and payment process.
- Support other department functions as requested.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Associate degree in business administration or related field (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with database software (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle)
- Ability to navigate and use web-based warranty submission portals
- Familiarity with basic troubleshooting techniques for computer and software issues.
- Must have a minimum of five years of experience in warranty & operation process management.
