About the role:
As a Real Estate Runner, you’ll play a critical role in our acquisitions team, bidding on properties at courthouse steps and helping secure opportunities to revitalize communities. This is a field-based role that involves extensive driving between properties and auctions. You’ll need to think on your feet, make decisive calls, and communicate effectively while thriving in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. What you'll do:
- Bidding on properties at courthouse steps to support our acquisitions team.
- Drive to properties and auctions daily throughout the designated area.
- Inspect properties for occupancy.
- Make general assessments on the current conditions and quality of neighborhoods and communicate with the project manager.
- Deliver Change of Ownership forms.
- Install and pick up lock boxes, ensure keys are at properties when needed.
- Negotiate relocations and cash for keys as needed.
- Use our proprietary systems and mobile tools to streamline data quickly and efficiently.
What you'll need:
- This role offers 15-20 hours per week initially; availability required Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
- Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency.

- Willingness to knock on doors and talk with occupants.

The salary range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00 an hour. In addition, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
