The Senior Financial Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting regional monthly operating reviews. This includes a monthly executive summary and a rotating set of bi-weekly regional meetings. The Senior Financial Operations Analyst is organized, proficient in data analytics/visualization, and able to effectively communicate across varying levels of the organization.
Essential Functions:
- Review monthly financial performance at the dialysis center level, with a focus on trend and variance analysis.
- Highlight areas of concern, such as material decrease in volume, material increase in costs, out-of-period activity and general variance to plan.
- Coordinate and schedule "deep-dive" review meetings with regional leadership, focused on planned improvements and accountability.
- Collaborate with other members of the Finance team and cross-functionally with other areas of the business using strong business partnership and influencing skills.
- Participate in the development of financial models/initiatives and other related planning activities. Assist in the development and modification of forecasts, cost estimates, breakeven, and other analyses.
- Utilize strong analytical and interpersonal skills and recognize the "big picture" in addition to putting together the numbers and meeting deadlines.
- Aggressively pursue knowledge of the business to produce better and more useful information to support the decision-making process.
- Be responsible and extremely resourceful in finding answers and solutions when information and data is not readily available.
- Effectively participate in and facilitate group meetings with cross-functional leaders.
- Perform various ad hoc projects related to financial operations as assigned or requested.
Position Type, Expected Hours of Work & Travel:
This is a Full-Time, hybrid (Franklin, TN / Beverly, MA), or remote position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hours of work may vary according to business needs. Occasional travel may be required (up to 10% of the time).
Required Education and Experience:
- BA/BS in Accounting
- 2+ years of related business experience required, industry experience preferred
- Experience with Workday as a general ledger preferred
- Experience with OfficeConnect as a reporting software preferred
- Possesses a sense of urgency and commitment to accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
