Job Description: Project Finance Manager (R&D)
Position Overview:
BrioHealth Solutions Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to join our team. As a Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our R&D projects and Clinical Trial project, ensuring their successful execution and proper documentation. You will be responsible for overseeing the financial planning, analysis, and reporting for multiple cost centers and projects and providing strategic financial guidance to project teams and senior management. The ideal candidate has a strong background in finance, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial targets.
Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support project decision-making, including revenue and cost projections.
Monitor project financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend appropriate actions to achieve financial objectives.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate forecasting, track project progress, and provide regular financial updates to stakeholders.
Project Accounting:
Oversee project accounting processes, including revenue recognition, expense allocation, and cost tracking.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and financial policies.
Review and approve project-related invoices, contracts, and financial documents.
Coordinate with the finance team to integrate project financial data into company financial statements.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and present timely and accurate financial reports for project stakeholders, including project status reports, financial statements, and variance analysis.
Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for senior management and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with project reporting requirements, including contractual obligations and regulatory standards.
Risk Management:
Identify and assess financial risks associated with projects and develop risk mitigation strategies.
Guide financial terms and conditions in project contracts, ensuring alignment with company objectives and financial policies.
Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to review and negotiate project contracts from a financial perspective.
Team Collaboration and Leadership:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and business development, to ensure effective project execution.
Provide financial guidance and support to project teams, promoting financial understanding and accountability.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
Proven experience (7 years) in project finance, financial analysis, or related roles.
Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and financial planning processes.
Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools and advanced MS Excel financial modeling skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders effectively.
Experience working with project management methodologies and tools is preferred.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, focusing on building positive relationships across teams and functions.
Solid experience in SAP and Concur expense reporting systems is highly preferred
