The Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. This role involves collaborating with various departments to support day-to-day financial operations and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Record financial transactions and journal entries in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the month-end closing process by preparing journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and participating in financial statement preparation and analysis.
- Generate and analyze financial reports for management review. Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
- Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.

- Advanced knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
- CPA, CMA, or MBA designation preferred.
