Marcus & Millichap is seeking a Transaction Manager with real estate transaction experience, who can provide a steadying presence within a fast-paced sales team. This role is a full-time, in-office position supporting a top producing Commercial Real Estate Brokerage team in the Fort Lauderdale office. The combination of working with an individual sales team within a larger corporation provides the entrepreneurial feel of a small business while enjoying the benefits and tools of a national firm.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator (written and verbal) with an emphasis on prioritization and time management, proactive while multitasking, exceptionally organized, detail oriented, diligent and able to learn quickly while working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Manage real estate transactions from listing through closing.
- Maintain organized records of transaction documents, communications, and deadlines.
- Review marketing packages and collateral for accuracy and compliance.
- Review contracts and outline critical transaction dates to be disseminated to all parties.
- Communicate with clients, third parties and agents to ensure all critical dates are met.
- Maintain a document management system for marketing deliverables and due diligence to be accessed by all parties to a transaction.
- Coordination of closings and post-closing activities (press releases, client gifts, etc.).
- Transaction Pipeline management using Marcus & Millichap’s proprietary software.
- Work with third parties to maintain CRM database of properties and owners.
- Provide support to brokers and clients throughout the transaction process, ensuring a positive experience for all parties involved.
- Coordinate and manage special projects / provide administrative support.
- Manages day-to-day team operations, such as but not limited to expense reports, binding of marketing materials, implement process corrections to optimize efficiency, streamline workflow and enhance overall operational effectiveness.
- Coordinate marketing strategies for transactions.
Ideal Knowledge And Experience:- 2-4 years Real Estate Transaction Management experience (commercial preferred, residential acceptable).
- Extremely detail oriented, organized, and versatile/flexible with the ability and willingness to take on new responsibilities and tasks as requested.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with people of all personality types.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, i.e., spelling, grammar, punctuation.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling documents.
