We have a virtual opportunity available for candidates interested in learning to manage letter of credit and corporate guaranty data entry, accounting, quarterly reporting, auditing, and file management. You would work with senior Trade Finance Analysts to learn the ins and outs of Trade Finance and position yourself for growth opportunities to work with our internal business units directly to support their mission goals and assume management of critical tasks to include developing financial concepts and related contract terms.
This position will be responsible for:
- Learning and developing understanding of letters of credit and/or corporate guaranty requirements.
- Processing issuances of financial instruments and related amendments and maintaining the databases.
- Updating Sharepoint files.
- Support quarter and year end reporting requirements.
- Support Sarbanes-Oxley review and testing process.
- Support team members and other areas of Treasury as needed.
This is a virtual position with minimal travel required.
Basic Qualifications:
- Critical thinker with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze and identify relationships and conflicts.
- Self-management skills; independent learner, prioritizing tasks and following through.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Word, Outlook, Access and PowerPoint including chart making, import/export, templates, etc.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel to include complex formula creation, data sorting, pivot table, conditional formatting, Power Query, Power Pivot and formula troubleshooting.
- Proficient Mathematic skills; arithmetic and computing ratios, rates and percentages.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with cost estimating concepts.
- Business writing w/proof reading skills to grammatically correct routine business correspondence and technical writing.
- Knowledge of SAP and experience working in the SAP application or similar application.
- Minimum of 1 year knowledge of commercial and direct commercial contracts.
- Experience processing invoices.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a finance or business management discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $67,000 - $126,100. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
