Statement of Purpose: This position ensures compliance with all policies, processes and procedures related to front end revenue cycle. The Front-End RCM Training Manager has a strong background in revenue cycle management, particularly in front-end processes, coupled with exceptional training and leadership abilities. The Front-End RCM Training Manager reviews systems and processes to identify potential compliance issues and works with appropriate departments to correct such issues. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of revenue cycle operations through comprehensive training and auditing programs.

Essential Functions:
- Promotes and practices CAN Community Health Inc’s mission and values and follows its policies and procedures.
- Ensures confidentiality is maintained by entire team regarding patient/client information in accordance with HIPAA, professional and departmental standards.
Primary Tasks:
- Develop and implement training programs for front-end revenue cycle processes, including, but not limited to, patient registration, insurance verification, eligibility verification, and prior authorizations.
- Assess training needs and create customized training materials and resources tailored to various roles within the revenue cycle team.
- Conduct regular training sessions for new hires, as well as ongoing training sessions for existing staff to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
- Collaborate with revenue cycle leadership to identify areas for process improvement and develop training initiatives to address deficiencies.
- Using auditing processes, monitor trainee performance and provide constructive feedback and coaching to support skill development and performance improvement.
- Stay updated on changes in healthcare regulations, payer requirements, and revenue cycle technology to incorporate relevant updates into training programs.
- Maintain training documentation and records, including training schedules, attendance, and performance evaluations.
- Monitors benchmarks and KPIs and uses actionable data for improvement.
- Act as a subject matter expert on front-end revenue cycle processes, providing guidance and support to staff as needed.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the revenue cycle team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including EMR, finance, and clinical/medical/operations departments, to ensure alignment and integration of front-end revenue cycle processes with organizational goals and objectives.
Secondary Tasks:
- Practice Integrity and Mission and Value statement.
- Communicates effectively and collaborates with other departments to implement best practices while accurately complying with billing guidelines.
- Develops and manages revenue process improvement strategies in support of clinical departments, implementation of information systems, and process initiatives.
- Responsible for maintaining system edits to ensure they achieve compliance, payment optimization, and process efficiency.
- Communicates effectively with senior RCM leadership on compliance concerns, performance issues, and improvement strategies.
- Leads projects with efficiency, project plans, and status reports.
- Sites visits as necessary.
Requirements

- Requires frequent bending, stooping, and standing. Requires visual and auditory acuity, frequent sitting and walking for extended periods of time.
Education/Professional:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, Business, Finance, or more than 5 years equivalent healthcare experience
- Three+ years management experience in a healthcare setting.

- Proven track record of designing and delivering effective training programs in a healthcare or revenue cycle setting.
- Ability to research projects using primary sources when appropriate, such as CMS, HRSA, AHCA, Availity, Payer Portals, etc.
- Experience working with medical payers including Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial and third-party administrators.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to research complex information, create insights, communicate recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions.
- Strong understanding of healthcare billing and reimbursement practices, including knowledge of payer guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate staff at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (EXCEL, VISIO, Word, PowerPoint)

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment or may be remote. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, audio visual, telephones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This position may require additional time above normal operating hours and on occasion weekend work.
Travel:
When/If necessary, travel is primary during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel is expected. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and have valid insurance and driver’s license.
