POSITION OVERVIEW
The Valet & Parking Manager is a pivotal role within our hospitality team, responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the Valet Department and Parking Services. The Valet & Parking Manager will lead a team of valet Assistant Managers and Attendants, ensuring the efficient and seamless operation of Valet & Parking services. The primary focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service, optimizing parking operations, and maintaining a high level of professionalism and guest satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
- Oversee the overall management of the Valet Parking Department, including personnel, operations, and equipment
- Develop and implement valet policies, procedures, and performance standards to ensure a consistent and exceptional level of service
- Monitor departmental budgets, expenses, and revenue streams, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement
- Lead and inspire a team of assistant managers and attendants, providing guidance, training, and ongoing coaching to ensure a high-performance work environment
- Foster a culture of exceptional customer service, emphasizing professionalism, courtesy, and attention to detail
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to valet supervisors and attendants, recognizing achievements and identifying areas for improvement
- Set and maintain a high standard of customer service, ensuring that guests receive a warm welcome, efficient parking services, and a positive experience from arrival to departure
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints, taking appropriate actions to resolve issues and exceed guest expectations
- Implement guest satisfaction measurement tools and procedures, regularly evaluating feedback to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to enhance the guest experience
- Optimize parking capacity by managing the flow of vehicles, ensuring efficient parking and retrieval processes, and maximizing space utilization
- Monitor and maintain the functionality of parking equipment, coordinating repairs or replacements as needed
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and traffic regulations, ensuring the safe handling of vehicles and the well-being of guests and staff
- Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk, concierge, and security, to ensure smooth coordination and seamless guest experiences
- Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Front Services for a large-scale, luxury resort
- Proven experience in a front service or guest services role within a luxury hotel or high-end resort, with previous supervisory experience preferred
- Proficient with Skidata, Hotsos and HMS a plus
- Highly motivated and energetic personality with a strong commitment to excellence in hospitality
- Ability to maintain composure when working in busy and stressful situations
- Ability to manage, prioritize, and delegate multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive guest and company information
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a polished and professional demeanor
- Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional and personalized guest experiences
- Proficiency in using front office and guest service systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of local attractions, events, and cultural offerings to provide informed recommendations to guests
- Ability to actively influence and drive collaboration with individuals or groups at various levels within and outside of the organization
- Ability to provide leadership and direction contributing to the success of the organization through engaging, developing, and mentoring individuals and teams
- Demonstrated ability in maintaining consistent, high-quality service levels
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to organize effectively, delegate responsibility, solve problems quickly, and communicate clearly
- Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, holidays, and weekends
- Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position supervises all positions with the Valet & Parking department.

Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.

SALARY
$60000 per year - $73200 per year
