eX² Technology is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Accounting Team. As a Staff Accountant, you will help improve our accounting process flow and decrease the time to close month-end financials by processing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and analyzing results.

Responsibilities
- Perform basic accounting functions, including auditing revenue and expense accounts, reconciling balance sheet accounts such as cash, credit cards, accounts receivable, fixed assets, payroll accounts, accruals, and intercompany.
- Prepare and submit various governmental filings and returns, including property tax and sales tax applications/returns.
- Aid in the preparation of the organization’s IRS compliance requirements.
- Maintain a record of all fixed assets, including date of purchase, cost, voucher number, and depreciation data.
- Prepare, analyze, and post job cost entries and disseminate related reporting and analysis.
- Review and approve timecards.
- Assist and collaborate with external auditors for consolidated financial audit.
- Participate in special projects, including process improvements and system enhancements.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting field required.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and multi-task while maintaining quality standards.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel.
Physical Requirements
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The incumbent is occasionally required to walk or stand for long periods of time. The incumbent may be required to lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Other Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent will work in a semi-quiet office environment.
