Our client, a reputable Chartered Accountancy firm based in Stafford, is seeking an ACCA Qualified Accountant to join their team.
Reporting directly to the Client Director, the ideal candidate will hold the ACA or ACCA qualification and have at least 5 years of experience working in an accounting practice.
Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Assisting accounts portfolio managers in client service
- Managing bookkeeping and preparing VAT returns
- Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Preparing corporation tax computations and returns
- Handling some personal tax work, though this will not be the primary focus
