Position Summary
The Real Estate Development Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of real estate development projects. They will lead a collection of ongoing and upcoming projects and communicate with team members from kickoff to completion. This role requires a strategic and detail-oriented professional with extensive experience in real estate development, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple commercial and residential projects simultaneously. This position works closely with seasoned leaders and project team members to manage project deliverables, deadlines, and budgets.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Project Planning and Management
- Lead the development of master-planned communities from concept through completion.
- Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and schedules.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other consultants to ensure project goals are met.
Land/Water Acquisition and Entitlement
- Assist on acquisition of land and raw water.
- Manage the entitlement process, including zoning, permits, and approvals.
- Work closely with local government officials and community stakeholders.
Financial Management
- Prepare and manage project pro formas, budgets, and financial analyses.
- Assist with financing and managing funding sources.
- Monitor project expenditures and implement cost control measures.
Design and Construction Oversight
- Oversee the design and construction phases to ensure quality and adherence to plans.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and address issues.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and standards.
Marketing and Sales
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote our residential communities and commercial centers.
- Monitor market trends and adjust strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with sales team to ensure successful marketing and sales efforts.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Conduct public meetings and presentations to communicate project plans and progress.
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, partners, and community members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate development.
- Proven track record of successfully managing real estate development projects.
- Strong understanding of real estate markets, financial analysis, and project management principles.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including government officials, investors, and community members.
Physical Requirements
- Walk job site locations as needed.
- Current Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to drive a vehicle to job sites if required.
Salary and Benefits
Salary range for position: $95,000/yr - $150,000/yr
