Position Summary:

We are hiring a Business Analyst II to create analytic reports, interpret data, lead the preparation of the retail annual budget, and manage projects! Day in the life: In a typical day, a Business Analyst II can expect to...
- Budgets and Forecasts: ensure that Donated Goods Retail (DGR) annual budget and monthly forecast process is timely and accurately completed, in partnership with DGR leadership and support personnel.
- Analysis and Reports: establish and create reports needed for effectively analyzing results across multiple metrics, in partnership with manager. Utilize available systems to design and generate reports that are readily accessible, user-friendly, and value-added.
- Project Management: plan, manage, and direct projects, including participating in the selection and implementation of new software, from origin through completion, in collaboration with leadership.
- Operational Support: provide administrative support for the organization’s budgeting software, in partnership with manager.
- Training of Business Analyst: responsible for training and providing assistance to the Business Analyst position.
Job Pay & Perks:
- Typical starting pay: $78,000 to $99,000
- Work/life balance: This role is eligible to work remotely but must be locally based / available to be on site as needed.

About You:
Required Knowledge & Skills:
- Significant experience with databases including the ability to write queries and build reports.
- Highly advanced Excel skills, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, PowerPivot, PowerQuery, and macros.
- Proficient in Windows and other Microsoft applications.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and high-level of accuracy.
- Strong communications skills both oral and written.
- Ability and desire to provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously with the ability to prioritize.
- Ability to complete projects in a timely basis and meet deadlines.
- High level of initiative and self-motivation.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
Prior Experience & Education:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in report analysis, building and formatting reports using multiple tools and/or application software packages, required.
- Retail data analysis experience required.
- Experience with Adaptive Insights budgeting software preferred.
- Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree in a related field preferred.
