Ethicon, a member of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Senior Marketing Manager, Energy Capital, to be based in Raritan, NJ. Consideration for Cincinnati, OH or Santa Clara, CA locations at the manager's discretion.
The Senior Marketing Manager, Energy Capital leads the Capital product strategy development for the US, creating, implementing and leading all aspects of the brand strategy to improve profitability and market share. Energy capital is essential to the growth of the Energy platform as all Energy products in the portfolio use it.
The role manages all capital products in the Energy portfolio inclusive of Generators, Smoke Evacuators, Mega Soft Pads, associated software and warranty and service programs. The Senior Manager works closely with cross-functional partners in Commercial Education, Professional Education, HEMA, HCC, Legal, Finance and others to deliver results. This role will have responsibility for the Capital portfolio to include delivery of product sales, portfolio management, marketing programs to drive sales and commercial education training strategy to elevate organizational capabilities around Capital selling.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing Capital marketing business strategies, and implementing them
- Developing innovative marketing programs based on brand/product strategies and implement
- Partnering with Area and Regional sales leaders to perform key tactics
- Collaborating with key customers and opinion leaders during internal and field based customer events in order to strengthen plans and impact business
- Developing customer insights and key strategies to assure portfolio performance.
- Developing and implementing comprehensive marketing communication programs and working across marketing mix to target appropriate communication
- Exploring and executing against alternate channels to drive demand
- Ensuring completion of market analysis and monitoring of competitor activity
- Portfolio management and prioritization of new opportunities through financial modeling and gap analysis
- Developing strategic briefs and managing design and media planning agencies.
Required
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant business experience
- A minimum of 3 years in marketing, sales, product development and/or related experience
- Strategic mentality, sound business insight, and creative problem solving
- Ability to communicate sophisticated technology to non-technical audience
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
Preferred
- Healthcare industry and/or medical device experience
- Experience marketing or selling capital equipment in the healthcare market
- Experience managing complex cross-functional relationships
- Strong financial analysis skills
- Previous leadership/people management experience
- The ability to influence across a highly-matrixed organization
- Ability to deliver customer-defined business solutions
Other
- Domestic travel of up to 25%.
- The anticipated base pay range for this position is $118,000 - $203,550.
