The Financial Analyst will be involved in all facets of the deal from start to finish. This position will focus primarily on research and underwrite investment opportunities and will play an integral role in the due diligence team. This position is part of a collaborative environment with brokers, marketing, and project administrators.
This position is a Financial Analyst role based out of our Atlanta, GA Office.
In this role, you will…
- Analyze financials and provide reports on a timely basis.
- Produce underwriting for portfolio and individual retail assets, using Argus and/or Excel.
- Write ad-hoc summaries, reports (investment rationale, highlights, market summaries), assist with due diligence process and perform Argus auditing.
- Pull rent, sale comparables, lease abstraction and provide market analysis for business development.
- Conduct tenant research and credit analysis and stay current with trends, tenant sales and market comps.
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 3 years’ experience in commercial real estate, preferably with a focus in financial underwriting including incorporating analysis and research skills.
- A sophisticated understanding of advanced retail real estate concepts, such as different lease clauses, return analysis, debt terms, etc.
- Advanced Microsoft applications experience (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Well organized and with excellent time management skills.
- Excellent time management, organization and financial analytical skills and the ability to shift priorities and deliver projects on a timely basis.
