Make an Impact as a Senior Accountant!
The NewPath Child & Family Solutions Senior Accountant is responsible for providing financial support for our non-profit organization in the Cincinnati area. The Senior Accountant position is responsible for but not limited to, general ledger maintenance, bank and account reconciliations, financial report preparations for management as well as outside agencies, and providing backup for the payroll specialist. The Senior Accountant position at NewPath provides an opportunity for a career path to a Controller position.

What You'll Do:
- Prepare and post monthly and year-end journal entries.
- Generate monthly financial statements and analysis.
- Prepare various payments for clients in our programs.
- Prepare monthly and annual cost and census reports for various payers.
- Coordinate coding and spending of designated contributions and grants.
- Compile and submit an annual budget packet and actual costs packet to County payers.
- Prepare assigned balance sheet and donation revenue reconciliations.
- Administration of Wraparound funds.
- Assist auditors in preparation of annual audits, 990, and IV-E cost reports.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or similar field; and at least three (3) years of accounting experience.
- Prior work experience in a non-profit environment preferred.
- Knowledge of accounting practices relevant to non-profit accounting.
- Working knowledge of GAAP.
- Familiar with Sage or similar computer-based accounting software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving and time management skills are required.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail is needed.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
