Summary:
The Senior Service Rep. fulfills routine and occasionally non-routine transactions, internal business partner and/or external customer inquiries/ requests, and/or audit/ reconciliation activities, and solves issues efficiently and effectively in accordance with Bank and industry standards, focusing on up to a three-month time horizon. Follows procedures to resolve internal business partner and/or external customer inquiries/ requests and issues.
Responsibilities:
- Process and/or fulfill transactions, perform audit/ reconciliation activities and/or other activities in accordance with established priorities and deadlines on a timely, accurate and efficient basis.
- Processing a variety of accounting transaction requests and posting customer monetary transactions.
- Preparing manual general ledger journal entries for lending and/or deposit product transactions.
- Issuing and balancing cashier’s checks.
- Processing stop payments, official check reissues, and void requests.
- Processing interest adjustments on deposit, savings, and investment accounts.
- Resolve discrepancies/ exceptions that frequently deal with routine situations, requiring further analysis.
- Investigate and may resolve or make recommendations to more senior team members on more complex, non-routine issues relating to internal business partner and/or external customer inquiries or requests, business process efficiency and quality control within existing procedures.
- Enable productive relationships within the line of business (LOB) and other functions through responsiveness and support. Proactively work with others (i.e., on own team, shared service center, other operational areas, or with the internal business partner and/or external customer) to ensure delivery of timely, quality and efficient fulfillment activities.
- Provide advice to internal business partners and peers to support the completion of a process or activity within established procedures.
- May provide input into the continuous improvement of business processes and procedures within the scope of the work team, and participate in the planning, testing and implementation of projects and new/ revised products/ services or processes.
Must-Have Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Finance or Accounting preferred).
- 1-2 years of work or related experience in financial services (preferably banking).
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Good knowledge of banking financials, products, systems and processes.
- Detail oriented; high focus on accuracy and quality.
- Excellent work ethic, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills.
- Ability to interact with business partners at various levels.
- Good with Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel.
Compensation:
The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
