Phreesia is looking for a collaborative, process-orientedAccounting Managerto join the team!
We are a publicly traded healthcare technology company that is the leading provider of automated patient intake solutions. The ideal candidate will serve as Accounting Manager to support the finance and accounting operations and meet the demands of its growing business. You’ll work on close coordination, internal reporting, ad hoc projects and process improvements. We’re looking for a highly motivated individual that has strong accounting and analytical skills to join our dynamic team!
What You'll Do:
- Own and drive projects for process improvements across the accounting function
- Assist with development and implementation of monthly and non-monthly reporting financial results and other KPIs
- Perform financial statement analysis and document meaningful explanations for fluctuations
- Review daily and month-end accounting transactions and reconciliations
- Work collaboratively with multiple departments and perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
- Work with outside auditors during quarterly reviews, year-end audits and control walk throughs
- Assist in preparation of tax analysis and provide requested information
- Continually improve business processes through automation, thoughtful analysis and researching best practices inside and outside the company.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree and CPA required
- 5-8 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably a mix of public accounting firm (“Big 4”) and public company experience
- Working experience and knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley internal control requirements
- Experience leveraging systems for accounting efficiencies and reporting
- Strong analytical skills and written/verbal communication skills, able to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to adhere and meet internal and external deadlines in a dynamic and challenging environment
- Ability to recognize potential issues and problems, know when to escalate and propose solutions, where possible
- Workday experience preferred and advanced excel skills required
Base pay for US is $105k - $130k depending on qualifications. In addition, Phreesia also offers an attractive & comprehensive Total Rewards package.
