Key Responsibilities
- Participate in a team approach process of preparing required regulatory reports.
- Independently research and interpret regulatory rules, guidance, and instructions.
- Prepare draft reports with detailed supporting work papers.
- Become a subject matter expert with enhanced working knowledge of specific regulatory reports and/or banking products.
- Develop and implement product and cross-report analytics to enhance reporting accuracy.
- Work with other functions/teams to ensure reported data aligns to regulatory requirements and implement regulatory reporting changes.
- Investigate and prepare responses to regulator inquiries.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
- 3-6+ years of experience in accounting, audit, or financial services industry.
- Public accounting experience preferred.
- Foundational understanding of regulatory capital rules preferred.
The estimated salary range for this position is $95,000 to $105,000. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
