About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity to support our Tax team as a Senior Tax Specialist (Global) based in Shelton, CT. The Senior Tax Specialist (Global) is responsible for coordinating foreign tax compliance (direct and indirect) with local providers, supporting the company's transfer pricing policy, and addressing cross border tax needs. This person will also be working on the worldwide income tax provision. This position requires a candidate who is organized, is a versatile team player, and has a well-rounded skillset.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for the timely review and approval of foreign direct and indirect tax filings, supported by both internal Tax personnel as well as local providers.
- Responsible for reviewing global transfer pricing policies in alignment with the company’s business profile and structure.
- Monitor and assist with managing the company’s intercompany pricing to ensure returns are in line with arm’s length principles.
- Advise and collaborate with interdepartmental stakeholders regarding transactions and restructurings.
- Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with cross-functional business partners across Finance, Accounting, and Legal.
- Oversee country-by-country reporting (CbCR) requirements & related compliance.
- Providing assistance on Worldwide Income Tax Provision from a foreign tax perspective.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in accounting or related field.
- 3-5 years’ experience, preferably in public accounting.
- Experience in reviewing foreign income and indirect tax returns.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Team player and work collaboratively as well as independently.
- Ability to analyze and compile supporting documentation for tax returns and tax provision.
- Ability to multitask and flexibility to adapt to changes quickly.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to research technical issues and problem solve.
- Strong excel skills and ability to learn new systems.
- A natural curiosity to continually update their tax technical skillset.
- Continually updating their job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations and researching US legislative changes to keep current.
