ABOUT TOP DOG COUNTRY CLUB
Top Dog Country Club is a world-renowned vacation club for dogs, located in New Germany, Minnesota, just 20 minutes West of Lake Minnetonka. Our vacation club, in its 24th year of operations, gives canines a vacation filled with fun activities including 5-6 hours of group play each day, and an active staff that works with dogs teaching them good social skills. We are experts in the hospitality industry with a founder who had more than 14 years of experience as a Vice President and veteran of Marriott International, before opening Top Dog in 2000 and forever changing the way dogs are treated when their owners travel. Top Dog Country Club gives 10% of profits to Top Dog Foundation, for the rescue of "ElderPups" left behind when an owner is no longer able to care for them.
Salary will range from $35,000-$50,000 depending on skills and experience. Tips are in addition to salary pay, and average $5-$6/hour. Benefits include medical insurance, pet insurance, tuition reimbursement, PTO, 401K with a match, profit sharing, daycare and boarding benefits, and tips.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TOP DOG CANINE CARE STAFF MANAGER
- Work with the owner, general manager, and other canine care managers to oversee daily operations of the business.
- Facilitate staff communication to provide a fun and safe vacation experience for dogs.
- Direct the efforts of canine care staff / Assist in whatever is needed for the dogs.
- Assist in training and staff development.
- Deliver excellent client service.
- Operate reservation management system to schedule / deliver guest services.
- Make smart decisions regarding the care and safety of the dogs.
- Utilize reservation management system to manage daily payments, deposits, and process end of day financials / reporting.
- Represent Top Dog Country Club with integrity and pride to ensure that Top Dog's reputation remains excellent in the community.
- Direct canine care staff to live our promise and our core values.
- Treat the business as if it were your own and make smart decisions regarding Top Dog's reputation and profitability.
