Position Summary:
- Oversee the daily activities of the nursing department.
- Assess current care plans, implement and coordinate a plan of care for residents in pertinent areas.
- Assure medications and treatments are administered to assigned residents.
- Ensure physicians' orders are processed and physicians notified in a timely manner; observe and document observations and care given to residents.
- Direct and assist with resident, family/significant other education.
- Determine appropriate treatment plans for each patient.
- Supervise direct care support staff.
Position Qualifications:
- Current Nursing License in the State of Minnesota
- BLS Certification
- Prior experience as a supervisor preferred
- Previous mental health working experience preferred but not necessary
