What You’ll Do
- Identify and action opportunities for process improvements within the Distribution Centres
- Creation of operational reporting to drive change
- Maintenance of dashboards / reports
- Carry out detailed root cause analysis and investigation on various Distribution Centre processes, functions and systems
- Develop business requirements, business cases and cost benefit analysis for assigned projects
- Assist in designing new business and system processes
- Drive analytical projects and collaborating with stakeholders
- Conduct benchmark analysis (internal and industry) on tools, processes, and performance measures
- Provide support and expertise to DC Operations
- Conduct workflow, root cause and statistical analysis using operational data
- Work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations with all CTC safety Policies/Programs/Procedures/Requirements
- Create reports and dashboards for distribution key performance indicators
- Support Supply Chain leadership decision making with ad hoc analysis
- Other tasks as assigned
What You Bring
- Post Secondary Education in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency and advanced skills in Power BI is a must – this includes experience building dashboards, utilizing multiple data sources and creating visualizations.
- Experience with writing SQLs to extract data from multiple data sources
- Strong analytical, conceptual, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong facilitation, presentation and communication skills.
- Self-initiated, able to drive projects independently
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis and providing recommendations to the leadership team
- Experience with large data sets an asset
- Team player, ability to present to and collaborate with all levels of the organization.
- Experience participating in large scale projects an asset
- Experience with data source (i.e. Data Lakes, Snowflake, Hadoop, PPA, EDW) an asset
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Visio)
