As Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk Management (“ERM”) Strategy, you will be responsible for supporting Verizon’s ERM Business Intelligence program, reporting to the Associate Director, Enterprise Risk Management Strategy. This team supports all ERM functions, the Compliance Office, the Ethics Office and multiple other partner organizations by providing advanced statistical analytics, machine learning capabilities, data mining and automation solutions. You will provide timely and accurate insights into critically important, large and complicated data sets, and develop digital tools to ease administrative burden of internal controls, processes and reporting. Partnering with your peers and other business leaders will be critical in the success of leading the ERM Business Intelligence program.

You’ll need to have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Accounting or any other related discipline; or four or more years of work experience.
- Six or more years of relevant work experience.
- Six or more years of related data analytics, information technology and or audit experience.
- Experience presenting project results to various levels of the business, up to and including executive leadership.
- Experience with Data Visualization tools, particularly creating dashboards and executive reporting (Tableau or Qlik).
- Business analytical skills; ability to apply business logic to design and implement data mining techniques on large data sets.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- MBA, Masters, CISSP, PMP, CPA, CEH and or CFE designation.
- Experience in using and managing the full data science stack of tools.
- Knowledge of predictive and prescriptive analytics, data mining and machine learning (Alteryx, Python and R preferred).
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing.
- Proficiency in the use of Teradata SQL, MS SQL server (SSIS/SSAS experience preferred).
- Experience designing, developing, implementing and maintaining a database and programs to manage data analysis efforts.
- Experience with self-serve analytics/ETL tools for business users (Alteryx).
- Knowledge of the tools, technologies and practices needed to perform in-depth analysis of both structured transactional data, and semi-structured or unstructured data.
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-changing environment with changing priorities and changing time constraints.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multitask.
- Ability to interpret business requests and communicate findings in an intelligible manner.
- Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.
