ACH Analyst
Carrollton, TX
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical ACH Analyst to join our Treasury team. The ACH Analyst will be responsible for managing and overseeing the ACH processes, ensuring accurate and timely transactions, and identifying opportunities for process improvements. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of ACH processing, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- ACH Processing: Manage the end-to-end ACH process, including initiation, approval, and reconciliation of transactions. Ensure compliance with NACHA rules and regulations.
- Transaction Monitoring: Monitor ACH transactions for accuracy, timeliness, and potential issues. Resolve discrepancies and address any issues related to transaction processing.
- Data Analysis: Analyze ACH transaction data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.
- Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed reports on ACH activity, including transaction volumes, error rates, and reconciliation status. Develop reporting package and operating metrics for executive team.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all ACH activities comply with state & federal regulations and internal policies. Assist in audits and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- System Maintenance: Support and maintain ACH processing systems and software. Work with IT, Product and vendor support to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
- Customer Service: Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding ACH-related inquiries. Provide excellent customer service and support.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to ACH transactions and processes. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency improvements. Collaborate with team members to implement best practices.
- Other Duties: Additional responsibilities assigned by management including, but not limited to, promo cards, prepaid cards, and other promotional card duties.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field, or combination of relevant experience and education.
- Minimum of 3 years industry or third-party experience.
- Knowledge of collection industry.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Programs Excel and Word and will be expected to learn basic tasks.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced high-demand environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
