The Sr. Finance Manager will be an integral part of T-Mobile's Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team supporting the T-Mobile for Business Group. The role will lead and help drive the monthly consolidation, forecasting and planning of service revenue related to T-Mobile's Postpaid business products. It will require strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities to provide actionable insights and guidance to key stakeholders. The ability to develop cross-functional partnerships and communicate in-depth analytical results to senior leadership are keys to success. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for business, is highly analytical and comfortable with ambiguity.
Responsibilities
- Use statistical and financial modeling techniques to analyze financial results and identify variances, underlying operational drivers, opportunities, and risks.
- Lead the development and implementation of key performance indicators and benchmarks for financial planning and control for both the departmental operating budget and forecasts.
- Demonstrate a dynamic understanding of complex problems and an ability to clearly present and communicate recommendations to senior leaders, including suggestions for course correction.
- Analyze the financial impact of emerging business opportunities, sales strategies, and promotions to improve tactical decision making and provide guidance to help achieve financial targets, including scenario and sensitivity analysis.
- Champion improvements and efficiencies in data structure while ensuring data integrity and fidelity in support of projects.
- Establish effective relationships with internal and external business partners.
- Ability to achieve deadlines while leading multiple and changing projects, receive and incorporate executive level feedback, and work cross functionally to build consensus on goals, assumptions, and conclusions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master's in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or relevant quantitative field.
- 7+ years professional experience in finance/accounting, strategy, operations; consulting or subscription-based revenue experience a plus.
- 2-4+ years of experience with data.
- 2-4+ years of experience with statistical analytics and/or data mining (Teradata, SQL, SAS, Python, R).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint proficiency.
- Extensive experience as a Subject Matter Expert in business case development, complex financial modeling.
- Experience with forecasting/analyzing cash flow revenue.
- Experience in forecasting/budgeting/internal reporting in a publicly held company.
- TM1/Cognos experience (Preferred).
- CPA or CFA certifications (Preferred).
Additional Information
At least 18 years of age.

Base Pay Range: $94,300 - $170,200.
Corporate Bonus Target: 20%.
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
