Planogram Analyst are responsible for planning, creating, and managing planograms for all assigned areas using space planning software. This position will help analyze store layouts, including determining appropriate levels of inventory facings to support sales activity, communicating effectively with the merchandising staffs to ensure maximization of sales, planning appropriate merchandising strategies and ensuring product layout is visually appealing to customers.

Responsibilities:
- The Planogram Analyst is responsible for the creation and maintenance of product shelf planograms through software programs for selected categories to support Fleet Farm merchandising teams.
- Create, revise and maintain Planograms/product placement for multiple categories through collaboration with merchandising teams for all clusters and set sizes.
- Monitor and understand the business impact of seasonality and can effectively adapt to changes in the business and/or market trends.
- Responsible for driving timeline deliverables according to timelines for Planogram execution.
- Schedule and conduct category review kick-off meetings to ensure collaboration and deliverables to all key stakeholders (Merchandising, Inventory Control, Signing, Fixtures, etc.).
- Create reports to validate Planogram accuracy per company requirements/standards.
- Facilitate communication between the Merchandising Department and Retail Operations. Ensure approved criteria and best practices are followed and space allocation/shelf placement needs are met.
- Assist Merchandising teams in understanding store space limitations at the shelf and develop innovative solutions to meet the company’s objectives.
- Analyze shelf inventory levels and make recommendations for change to improve inventory turns.
- Identify and maintain optimized space allocation recommendations for categories and product.
- Communicate Merchandising strategies and opportunities to Retail Operations departments for purposes of store-level execution.
- Assist with fixture orders for store resets.
- Verify all items are in the Planogram room as well as set up/take down (when applicable).
Education/Experience:
- BA/BS degree required or equivalent experience.
- Product knowledge and merchandising background preferred.
- Planogram building experience preferred. (JDA Preferred)
- Knowledge and understanding of the relation between product and shelf space.
- Strong PC skills with a preferred broad knowledge of any of the following: JDA Space, JDA Floor, Microsoft Office.
