The Cost and Pricing Analyst will support, monitor, and review costs, operational budgets, schedules, and financial forecasts. This analyst will prepare and coordinate the cost plans and schedules for new or existing Federal or State Government Programs. The C&P Analyst is responsible for operations support, cost/schedule control and analysis, Earned Value Management (EVM), Forecasting, Estimate at Completion (EAC), analyzing and presenting financial information to customers and management.
Responsibilities
- Knowledgeable of Direct Costs, Indirect Costs and Price of Labor and Non-Labor requirements.
- Prepare financial inputs to internal reports and presentations;
- Support audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management;
- Collect cost data from functional representatives, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Compute cost estimates of raw materials or subcontracted work and labor.
- Prepare and maintain historical cost data.
- Prepare cost reports and present findings to management, contract personnel, proposal coordinators, customer representatives, price auditors, vendors, and subcontractors.
Requirements
- Must have an active SECRET (or higher) Security Clearance.
- Earned Value Management (EVM) Experience.
- 5+ years project cost, planning, and scheduling experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, and high-output environment.
- Experience monitoring end-to-end project life cycles of product design, development, and implementation.
- Ability to communicate effectively and promptly at all levels of the organization.
- Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, MS Office Suite (MS Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Excel).
- Experience with financial CDRL and billing detail requirements, including merging data with teammate (subs) data.
Experience:
- Cost, pricing, estimating experience: 5+ years (Required). Prior cost analysis experience in support of DoD programs is a plus.
- Earned Value Management (EVM) experience. EVM Certification preferred.
- Familiar with all types of government contracting including CPFF, FFP, and T&M.
- Familiar with Sarbanes-Oxley reporting requirements.
- Experience developing cost budget planning, funding analysis/reporting, updating forecasts, monitoring, and analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to be proactive, creative, and innovative and use critical and strategic thinking.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct financial statement analyses: variance and trend analysis.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
Education:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline.
