Job Summary
This position will be a key partner to the Global Networks R&D function, operational staff, and project management office. The opportunity to spearhead R&D project financials by driving in-depth technical analysis for present and future financial performance. You will have the opportunity to interface with cross-functional teams and senior management.
Job Responsibilities
- Monthly close and reporting responsibilities including accruals, analysis of expenses, actual to forecast variance, pre-paid accounts, monthly cost allocations, account reconciliations, and close meeting preparation for insightful commentary.
- Prepare annual, quarterly, and monthly forecasts and present financial results and lead forecast reviews with senior leadership. Drive change and process improvement for improved efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop, analyze, interpret, present, and implement financial concepts for all areas of financial planning to all levels of the organization.
- Perform economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciation, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance, and impact of governmental requirements.
- Maintain complex financial models supporting executive conclusions.
- Contribute to cross-functional business projects.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A or a strategic finance role.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, as well as proficiency with PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI (preferred).
- Advanced Oracle Hyperion Essbase skills or similar cube-based reporting platform is required.
- Expertise in creating and managing complex financial models.
- Excellent communication skills with all levels of a corporate ladder.
- Ability to contest the status quo and be a change agent.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of organizational skills.
- Ability to drive progress forward in a hybrid work environment (virtual/in-office).
- Experience in financial analysis of return on R&D investment a plus.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance or other business-related discipline; MBA a plus.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience. Liberty Lake, WA: The base salary is $80,000 - $160,000.
