Responsible for managing the long-range financial planning process and profitability of existing and new business operations. Analyzes the profitability variances and recommendations for corrective actions. Provides long-term strategic and financial direction by connecting the dots between business operations, capital investment, and strategy to maximize West Division growth and to be at the forefront of our competition.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations around the Forecast, Budget and monthly close, working closely with the Division/HQ FP&A team to ensure we are aligned on assumptions, timing, and deliverables.
- Partner with the division functional teams to develop the annual Long-Range Plan and present to senior leadership.
- Manage relationships with division and regional finance and functional partners, providing guidance and support related to the forecast, budget, regional presentations, and deliverables to the division.
- Work closely with the division HR team to develop a monthly forecast and annual budget; present monthly insights to the HR senior team on both shared services and division-wide departmental performance; division-wide personnel and headcount analytics/management.
- Oversee the partnership with our compensation team and the preparation of our monthly comp analytics utilized by our senior leaders to better understand compensation trends in the division.
- Partner with the HQ programming & the Division revenue team to develop the forecast/budget and corresponding analytics/reporting for success-based metrics such as Programming, Cost of Goods Sold (NPD) and Franchise and Regulatory Fees.
- Compares financial results to planned or forecasted results and recommends future actions.
- Develops key reporting and analysis used to inform our senior leadership of business trends and opportunities.
- Prepares and reviews forecast and budget presentation materials for senior leadership.
- Supervises, coaches, develops, and prioritizes the workflow for the FP&A team and business partners assigned to project teams.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Salary:
Primary Location Pay Range: $120,166.28 - $180,249.42
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
Education
Bachelor's Degree
While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
