Interim Search has been commissioned to find a Business/Financial Controller for a leading company that offers services in the innovation industrial sector. The assignment can be performed 50% remotely and the remaining 50% at the place of assignment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Form an important part of the Business Areas Financial control function.
- Manage the budget and forecast process for management functions and participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Maintain and develop the Business Areas financial policies and procedures.
- Analyze the application of those policies and plans, performing Business Area wide reviews and trainings accordingly.
- Collaborate with other functions on projects aimed at continuous improvements.
To be eligible for the role:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent knowledge gained from work, along with a few years of experience as a Financial Controller.
- Proficient in SAP, Excel, and Power BI; experience with major consolidation systems like OneStream or BPC is an advantage.
- A common understanding of IFRS is required, with detailed knowledge of IFRS 9, IFRS 15, and/or IFRS 16 being a plus.
- Excellent English skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to maintain a strategic and holistic view while focusing on details and handling a large amount of information.
- Communicative and collaborative, with the ability to build and maintain a strong network in multicultural environments.
About the Process:
