Job Title: Senior Tax Manager (REMOTE but local to Chicagoland Area)

Job Summary:
The Corporate Tax team is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to primarily help support the income tax function. The Senior Tax Manager will be responsible for supporting the federal, state and international compliance as well as for preparing the US state & international tax provisions for financial statements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support preparation of complex federal and state income tax returns for U.S. partnership structure, including a handful of disregarded entities, with extremely tight deadlines.
- Support preparation of U.S. international tax information returns.
- Oversee & manage review of the foreign country tax compliance.
- Prepare federal and state quarterly estimates.
- Manage transfer pricing support & maintain adequate documentation of transfer pricing policies/studies.
- Register and file miscellaneous tax returns and reports, such as excise tax returns, state gross receipts tax returns, and annual reports.
- Assist senior tax analyst with notices.
- Prepare aspects of the quarterly and annual tax provision process, including a review of the foreign entity provisions and preparing income tax disclosures.
- Develop processes to improve efficiency of the income tax processes.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of federal and state income tax laws, legislation and current developments.
- Assist HR dept. with assistance on payroll tax notices.
- Assist our business units with tax-related matters, such as W-9s, W-8BEN-Es.
- Support tax-planning projects.
- Special projects, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors of Science in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA and/or Masters in Taxation preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of experience including:
- International, Federal and state.
- Working in a public accounting firm and/or corporation.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize resources effectively.
