Job Description
This role is responsible for supporting the division financial planning and management reporting processes, consolidating business unit results, and performing financial analysis of business operations.
- Analyze operating income components and report significant variances in Flash Report
- Assist in preparation of monthly management reporting package and other business presentations as required;
- Prepare ad hoc reports as needed;
- Develop, coordinate, and analyze client billings for accuracy to agreement;
- Forecast balance sheet and free cashflow for budget, monthly forecast and long range plans;
- Prepare and assist with the month end close and allocation processes;
- Prepares monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term financial plans, including related summary commentary and analysis using Vena and Hyperion software;
- Maintain effective communication process with key stakeholders and business partners to ensure that financial plans and monthly/quarterly analyses are accurate, complete, and timely;
- Develop and utilizes templates and models to aid in analysis of the business performance;
- Prepare reports on key business drivers and trends;
- Strive for continuous process improvement in assigned areas;
- Generate ad hoc analysis reports as needed;
- Perform related duties as assigned
- Will require from time to time to work outside of “Normal” work hours to align with U.S. based teams
Additional Job Description
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required. MBA or CPA preferred. In some business units, may require broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor’s degree program. Requires a minimum of four (4) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.
- Relevant experience
- Strong understanding of financial processes and systems;
- Robust knowledge of data analysis, data mining tools including data warehouse applications, Hyperion Essbase, MS Excel, and other query and reporting tools;
- Strong knowledge of profitability analysis;
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing;
- Ability to establish good relationships; drives long lasting change across functional boundaries; ability to work with all levels within the organization;
- Strong business acumen in the areas of economics and finance; understands operational impacts on financial processes;
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills;
- Strong organizational skills; attention to detail

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelor's Degree program, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires a minimum of 2+ directly related and progressively responsible experience or a Master’s Degree.
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of various financial management areas such as credit and collection principles, commercial credit, uniform commercial code, financial statement analysis, business law, plan development, productivity and profitability analysis.
- Understanding of ABC policies, philosophy, goals and objectives in order to affect financial oversight in protecting the company's assets.
- Working knowledge of accounting and planning software packages.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
- Ability to follow and interpret profit and loss statements
- Ability to implement processes resulting in satisfactory audit practices
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
