Robert R. Keller & Associates Inc., a successful service company in Manchester, NH is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to complement the accounting team.
This position provides excellent growth opportunities as you provide accounting services to our many successful Manufacturing Companies – Strategic Partners Kalwall Corporation, Structures Unlimited, Inc & Keller Products, Inc.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing our accounting operations, improving our financial processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing accurate financial information to support management decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparing and monitoring budgets.
- Take on additional responsibility assigned from the Assistant Controller.
- Manage internal controls.
- Review all inter-company transactions.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with our established schedule.
- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
- Analyze financial statements for discrepancies.
- Maintain and oversee all accounting procedures and processes.
- Assist with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
You will be a great fit if you have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ accounting experience; experience within a manufacturing environment required.
- Cost Accounting in Manufacturing experience required.
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
- Manufacturing ERP experience strongly preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing priorities.
- Highly organized, motivated, and task-oriented.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of writing reports, making presentations, and advising management.
