Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for most stages of audit engagements including planning, interim, fieldwork, concluding, and reporting.
- Demonstrate competency, technical skills, work quality, and application.
- Research and analyze authoritative accounting literature.
- Supervising staff.
- Work effectively within budgetary parameters.
- Meet time constraints and client deadlines.
- Work closely with audit managers and partners.
- Build client relationships.
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Occasional overtime required. Rarely would an employee work in excess of 40 hours a week.
Travel
Overnight travel is minimal.
Requirements
- Permits to practice in Missouri and Kansas (or qualified to obtain).
- Working knowledge of Professional Standards including Single Audits.
- At least 3 years public accounting experience.
- Experience with paperless audit programs a plus.
