The Finance Manager is a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of budgets, forecasts and cash flows. He/She has a natural passion for math and intricate knowledge of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, and other financial transactions within an organization. The Finance Manager plays an important support role, clarifying the financial outlook of our company and its clients with precise, proactive measures.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop financial models that forecast business outcomes and profits.
- Own month-end close fluctuation analytics, reconciliations, consolidations, and posting entries for different entities to ensure accurate recording and elimination of transactions between affiliated companies.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or variances in intercompany accounts promptly, collaborating with cross-functional teams when necessary.
- Prepare journal entries for intercompany transactions, adjustments, and other related accounting entries.
- Ensure that all intercompany balances are properly eliminating in consolidation.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls over intercompany transactions, minimizing the risk of errors and fraud.
- Review/perform complex reconciliations and analyze variances.
- Assist in timely preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting, as well as ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects.
- Facilitate the annual strategic planning and budgeting financial process including managing the data collection and consolidation process with accounting resources and functional leadership; analyzing the information to validate completeness and accuracy with the goal of communicating trends and key drivers to executive leadership.
- Track KPIs and prepare financial reports.
- Support the annual strategic planning process.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or other relevant degree program is required.
- 4+ years of relevant finance experience preferred.
- Understanding of intercompany eliminations and topside adjusting journal entries.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
- Must possess excellent critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and superior attention to detail.
- Prior experience with Sage Intact or other ERPs preferred along with Excel proficiency including Pivot Tables, VLookUps, Sumifs, etc.
- Comfort with data visualization is ideal (e.g., Narrator, Fivetran, ClickUp).
- Analytical mindset and the ability to work with large sets of data.
- Ability to work under pressure, often in a deadline-driven environment, and to multitask.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing.
Compensation: Salary + Performance-Based Bonus, Comprehensive Benefits Package. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed above.
