Responsibilities
- Review revenue and manage billing processing procedures on an ongoing basis and bring to attention any issues regarding accounting, business procedures or finances.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
- Liaise with various departments to ensure accuracy and timely recording of financial information, resolve any issue where required.
- Oversee issuing of checks/payment of invoices.
- Maintain General ledgers and prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements and financial reports.
- Offer insight and suggest ways to improve revenue growth.
- Establish, maintain and monitor revenue control risk, including an audit program to ensure revenue is generated according to contracted terms – maximizing revenue and minimizing loss.
- Along with VP of Finance, prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly revenue reports, as well as documentation of financial arrangements and profitability.
- Train staff members in new revenue control policies and collaborate with other staff regarding revenue systems evaluations and improvements.
Qualifications
- 5 to 7 years’ experience in accounting, financial, analytical, or auditing fields.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully manage relationships with clients, company executives, operational staff, sales staff, and co-workers.
- Strong analytical skills which involve financial analysis, key trends analysis, and business case analysis.
- Skilled at establishing and working collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment with multiple priorities.
- Experience with fully integrated accounting systems including but not limited to: Microsoft Dynamics, Great Plains, and Excel.
- CPA designation is an asset but not required.
- BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or related area.
- Team player with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
