PAY RANGE
The Target Pay Range for this position is $83,300-$101,700 annually. The full Pay Range is $64,600-$120,600 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

The Financial Accountant II plays a key role in analyzing and reconciling various member-related transactional accounts to ensure accurate recording and documentation of financial transactions at the Credit Union, as well as in preparing reports and financial schedules. What You’ll Do
- Safeguard Financial Transactions: Monitor and reconcile member-related transactional accounts, research, analyze, and resolve discrepancies, and provide insights for management review.
- Collaborate and Support: Engage and collaborate with credit union employees, provide detailed accounting support and analysis, and consult with the team for timely resolution of reconciling items.
- Prepare Financial Reports: Prepare daily and month-end journal entries, timely reconciliations, and reports to support year-end audit and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze and Innovate: Participate in month-end and year-end close process, provide in-depth analysis on operational issues, and contribute to the design and implementation of new/enhanced accounting systems and processes.
- Utilize Data Tools: Develop and maintain a working knowledge of data tools and enterprise systems to utilize and analyze data in executing responsibilities effectively and efficiently.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum three years of progressive experience in accounting
- Advanced experience in MS Excel

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple tasks in a timely manner
