Additional Information: Whole Foods Market is currently observing a 3-day hybrid office model. This role has the option to be based in our Austin, TX or Chicago, IL office.

Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Planning: Help chart the financial course for our Culinary Division and other non-retail production facilities.
Future-Ready Financial Modeling: Dive into financial scenarios, particularly for new facilities, supporting the growth of our Culinary Division and beyond.
Innovative Financial Insights: Drive strategic financial analysis to overcome challenges and contribute to the profitability of Whole Foods Market's diverse production facilities.
Sustainable Financial Impact: Deliver actionable financial insights to our leadership, influencing the sustainable profitability of our Culinary Division and non-retail production facilities.
Financial Vision Partnership: Collaborate as the point of contact for Finance, working closely with facility leadership to create a clear vision for both short and long-term financial success.
Comprehensive Business Reviews: Engage with the Finance team and facility partners, contributing to monthly business reviews, analyzing variances, assessing program performance, and tracking the progress of key initiatives.
Building Collaborative Relationships: Connect with the Culinary Division and senior leadership, bringing financial expertise to challenge assumptions and drive informed decision-making.
Integrity in Financial Analysis: Uphold the integrity and accuracy of financial analysis, reporting, and the interpretation of business results.
Adaptability and Initiative: Embrace the evolving nature of our business by providing ad-hoc analysis and being ready to take on new challenges.

Skills

Financial Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of financial systems, financial planning and analysis, and accounting principles.
Forward-looking Forecasting: Experience in dynamic, scenario-driven rolling forecasts with a focus on accuracy is a strong plus.
Engaging Presentation: Ability to present information engagingly to various levels of leadership.
Collaborative Spirit: Be both an independent worker and a team player, embodying the collaborative spirit of Whole Foods Market.
Excel Mastery: Excel proficiency is a must, including handling complex data sets, pivot tables, charts, and a range of functions. Power Query/Power Pivot experience is a bonus.
Data Agility: Familiarity with aggregating and manipulating data from various sources/systems.
Passion for Food and Production: Experience with food manufacturing/retail support is a plus, aligning with our commitment to quality and sustainability.
