About The Role
Financial Analysts play a key role in managing financial results within Boston Scientific's Cardiology Group, a growing $6B+ global business. The Financial Analyst will provide financial support for the high-growth WATCHMAN division. Responsibilities include supporting the WATCHMAN Finance Director in planning, reporting and analysis of the US market, revenue, share and commercial investments. This position requires a person with strong technical skills that values data organization and quality. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, and career driven.
Key Responsibilities
- Reports directly to a Finance Director with dotted line to the US Commercial lead
- Supports preparation of financial plans (Strategic, Annual Operating, Forecast) and close (monthly/quarterly) cycles in partnership with financial leadership
- Support planning, analysis and reporting of US Markets, Revenue and Pricing
- Support and/or lead planning and analysis of US Selling, Marketing & Administrative costs in-line with sales and latest financial forecasts
- Create and maintain reports to monitor sales, expense, and relevant metrics vs. expectations
- Performs monthly accruals and journal entries
- Support mapping key commercial investments to strategies and estimating return on investment to support investment prioritization
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with finance leadership
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with 1-3 years relevant experience
- Strong focus on data accuracy with appreciation for details, quality of work and process improvement
- Strong winning spirit, integrity, and appreciation for fostering a diverse business environment
- Highly collaborative, team-orientated, and career driven
- Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, Hyperion, and SAP a plus
