To Excel In This Role, You'll Need- A minimum of a 2-year degree in Finance or Accounting OR equivalent work experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting procedures, including a specific understanding of revenue, inventory, and commission
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Proficiency in accounting and inventory management software
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Impeccable attention to detail
YOUR ROLE AS AN ACCOUNTANTYou'll work a standard 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, providing a consistent and balanced work schedule.
As an Accountant at American Motors, your role revolves around maintaining accurate financial records. Your daily tasks will include reviewing and recording customer payments, coordinating sales transactions, verifying data accuracy, and reconciling financial reports. You'll also handle commissions, floorplan payments, and assist with sales tax reporting. Ensuring the integrity of our inventory records and promptly responding to inquiries from the sales team and management are part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you may provide support to accounts payable as needed. You love helping us keep our operations running smoothly!
