Overview
The Staff Accountant will evaluate complex transactions and record to the GL as necessary to ensure financials are accurate and complete. This role is also responsible for the completion of complex balance sheet reconciliations and income statement analysis.
Primary Responsibilities
- Calculate, review and process journal entries and balance sheet/account reconciliation in preparation for month-end and/or quarter-end processing
- Posting daily cash activities
- Evaluate transactions and record to the GL as necessary to ensure the financials are accurate and complete
- Compile and analyze complex accounting information to provide management with accounting information necessary to make critical business decisions
- Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree plus three years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two years of demonstrated full-cycle accounting experience
- Two years of demonstrated experience of accounting principles and GL systems

- Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or adding machine
- Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
- May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
