Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is the flagship casino resort of Hard Rock International, owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida. This world-renowned entertainment, gaming and hospitality destination unveiled a $1.5 billion expansion on Oct. 24, 2019. New offerings include 638 upscale guestrooms in the first-ever Guitar Hotel, 168 luxury guestrooms and unique swim-up suites in the adjacent Oasis Tower, and 465 newly redesigned guestrooms in Hard Rock Hotel for a combined room count of 1,271 throughout the resort. Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Revenue Verification Supervisor and Manager, duties include but are not limited to:
- Completing the daily audit/reconciliation of Slot activity, producing analysis on the daily/monthly and yearly performance of each gaming machine.
- Creating detailed analytical reports of Slot hold and performance based on both actual and theoretical data.
- Identifying, tracking and communicating conversions, installs and errors of all gaming machines to both Finance and Slot departments.
- Identifying patterns of invalid data quickly and efficiently and making accurate, precise decisions regarding the adjustment of metered data.
- Ensuring all drop data and revenue reported through the Slot system is accurate each day.
- Compiling and analyzing financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts.
- Reporting accumulated information on periodic financial statements and statistical reports.
- Assisting supervisors in the performance of a high level review of the casino audits and preparing reports to substantiate individual transactions.
- Assisting supervisor/manager with investigations and working closely with department heads.
- Recommending modifications to current accounting procedures that will enhance daily audit procedures.
- Substantiating financial transactions by auditing documents.
- Devising and implementing system for general accounting and audit preparation of worksheets.
- Assisting in the annual preparation and filing for W2Gs, 1099s, and 1042s.
- Working with the uniform chart of accounts using GAAP guidelines.
- Maintaining knowledge of the STOF Gaming regulations and internal controls.
- Demonstrating a commitment to responsible gaming and alcohol service.
- Ensuring prompt notification to management of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field and two (2) years experience in an accounting and analytical role required or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Casino accounting experience strongly preferred. The Revenue Audit Accountant is an entry level accounting position requiring weekends and holidays.

- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English.
