ACCOUNTANT
ARC Group has an immediate opportunity for an Accountant with financial reporting experience to join a direct client in their Ft. Lauderdale, FL offices. This position is onsite and will work with accounting and finance leadership while preparing month end closing and financial reporting and analysis for the parent company and its entities. This includes accounting and reporting, and assisting with banking relationships, monitoring cash flow, auditing, budget and forecasting.
This is a direct hire / full-time position and requires you to have permanent work authorization. We are NOT able to consider candidates from 3rd party vendors for this role.

Accounting And Reporting
- Assist the Senior Accountant in preparation and analysis of financial statements for various company entities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular financial reviews and provide strategic insights.
- Month end-closing processes.
- Ability to provide ad-hoc analysis/reporting when requested.
Banking and Treasury
- Manage bank relationships and transactions for all company entities.
- Facilitate wire transfers and issuance of checks.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure optimal liquidity. Prepare cash reports.
- Facilitate monthly bank accounts reconciliations and post adjustments to the general ledger as necessary.
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable function.
Audit and Compliance
- Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Monitor compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
Budgeting And Forecasting
- Assist in the development and monitoring of annual budgets.
- Prepare financial forecasts and variance analyses.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven 3+ years of experience as an Accountant.
- Knowledge of Statutory Accounting standards is preferred.
- Experience with multi-entity financial management.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with banking treasury systems.
- Optimistic, self-starter attitude.
- Strong oral and written communication skills: ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Strong organizational skills: detail-oriented and accurate.
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines; ability to quickly shift priorities and adapt to change.
- Desire to grow with the company and take on new challenges.
